How to make an R2-D2 from scratch.

The Radar Eye lens is very simple to make. You will need a 4″ half sphere and black spray paint. It doesn’t get much simpler than this. Place the sphere and mark it where it meets with the inside you your Radar Eye. Cut that line and paint the inside of it black. Test the fit and see how it fits inside the Radar Eye while on the dome. You can secure it by using hot glue or JB Weld.
This one is quite simple. Using a 1/2″ Hole Plug as the Dome Topper, you just have to use a step down bit to widen the hole to around 1/2″. A little sanding may be required. A bit of paint to match R2s color and just pop it right in!
After the Radar Eye fits with the dome, side panel is bonded together and put onto the Radar Eye and allowed to dry. Tape the side of the Radar Eye and the Side Panel so you don’t get JB Weld on the parts.Watch Full Movie Online Streaming Online and Download
Now that the Side Panel has dried, peel the tape off and attach the side detail made of .030 styrene, with plastic cement and trim off the excess once it dries. The dried cement can also be applied to the seams and trimmed down to make it look like one hole piece.
